the north face boys insults fly for Money
A day before they set to take the stage in Toronto, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor squared off across from one another for the first time.
As far as a preview of what Toronto fight fans should expect, well . not much more than a whole lot of trash talk and two very rich men bragging about how much money they earned. and delivered an at times awkward, at times intense back and forth.
After a couple speeches from executives who helped bring the fight together, McGregor took the microphone and mocked Mayweather supposed financial troubles.
in a f ing track suit,
the Irishman said. can even afford a suit anymore. was nothing particularly notable about the exchanges between the fighters.
McGregor said he knock the 40 year old Mayweather out in four rounds.
Mayweather called McGregor a quitter.
Despite all the pageantry surrounding the Aug. 26 fight at Las Vegas T Mobile Arena, Tuesday press kick off delivered few surprises.
But Mayweather and McGregor are two of the more aggressive trash talkers in the fight game, and once they got on stage, they each delivered their fair share of one liners.
Going forward, the promoters would be wise to get the behind the scene executives out of the way and ensure that both men have working microphones that allow for more of a verbal back and forth.
