the north face triclimate jacket charged with child sex abuse
Columbia Borough police and the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office on Sept. 18 charged Dwight William Landis, 1206 Chambers Ridge, York, with 12 counts of sexual abuse of children.
A search of Landis’ home discovered an additional five DVD movies, four envelopes containing child pornographic photographs of girls under 18 years of age and assorted e mails 67 separate images, the police complaint said.
Landis took his Dell computer to The Computer Outlet in Columbia April 4, according to the complaint. He asked owner Jesse Sweigart to wipe clean any viruses on the computer and install anti virus software.
The next day, Sweigart worked on the computer and observed an image of a girl about 5 years old performing oral sex on a man, as well as other images of girls 5 to 8 years old in various stages of undress, or posing in different sexual positions, according to the criminal complaint.
On April 11, police and the Lancaster County District Attorney’s office executed a search warrant to take control of Landis’ computer.
When they arrived at the store, Landis was there to pick up the computer. He voluntarily agreed to go to the Columbia Borough Police Department in reference to reported images on his computer, police said.
